“Crate Café is popular, but in my experience it felt quite overrated. It’s extremely busy, and unfortunately that showed in the service. My order wasn’t properly listened to, which resulted in a long wait and eventually the wrong dish being served. The prices are affordable and the portions are very large, which is a plus if you’re mainly looking for value. However, the seating is quite basic (simple wooden benches), which doesn’t make it very comfortable to sit and relax. Overall, it might work if you want cheap food and big portions, but the combination of poor service and a chaotic experience makes it hard to recommend. ”

“The quality of the food has dropped significantly. The matcha was too sweet, even though I didn't ask for sugar. It tasted like cheap instant matcha. The red velvet cake was hard and tasted very artificial. It used to be a good restaurant, but that's no longer the case.”
